The popular A&E series ‘Criss Angel Mindfreak” is all set to make a comeback on the network with a brand new sixth season on Wednesday, August 4. The upcoming season of the series which spans across six episodes would witness the highly acclaimed illusionist leave the viewers astonished with his fearless demonstrations, fantastic feats as well as unbelievable escapes. In the six episodes Angel would surely ensure that all his fans have a great time as he undertakes some of the most daring and unthinkable acts which is likely to keep the viewers asking for more. With the dazzling stunts that are lined up for the sixth season of “Criss Angel Mindfreak,” the show is surely going to reach new heights as the A&E Network officials have reiterated that the one-hour specials every week would showcase some of the most impressive acts of the show ever. In the premiere episode which is scheduled to be aired next week, the 42-year-old stunt performer would attempt to jump across the Grand Canyon in a hybrid bike but would miraculously appear in a locked cage suspended with a helicopter rather than plunging 4,200 feet below.

In the other episodes of the series, Criss Angel would try to defy gravity as he walks on the sides of the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The hype about the sixth season of the show is also immensely high as in one of the episodes, the illusionist would set a Guinness World Records by inviting about hundred people and shackling them together before making them vanish.

Ultra Music Festival, which is regarded as one of the leading music festivals of America, is scheduled to take place in March 25 to 27, 2011 at Miami. Surprised? Should be. This time, the event will take place for three consecutive days, unlike the last few years, when it occurred over two days only. The extra day has been scheduled to make the fans groove for the entire week during and after the event. The casino owners in Miami are under the impression that this extra day, will enhance the casino business as the visitors would hit it for fun and make money. The Miami Winter Music Conference will take place from March 8 to March 12. But they have scheduled the party week, which will last from March 22 to March 27, simultaneously with the Ultra Music Festival. The organizers of the thirteenth annual Ultra Music Festival have assured that the show is going to be nothing less than pure display of talent and is all set to get more rocking than what it was the last year. UMF Co-Founder Russell Faibisch, announced that they are going to the world’s best and incredible electronic talents, like Tiesto, deadmau5, Carl Cox and popular artists like The Cure and Black Eyed Peas. He said that the thirteenth event to take place in 2011, will exceed everyone’s expectations and would get bigger than ever before.

Ultra Music Festival includes a wide diversity of music from almost every genre including electronic music performers, DJs and cutting-edge bands and regional artists from Miami. They invite more than 200 international artists, attracting over 100,000 music lovers from all over America and the globe.

If the latest reports are to be believed, the popular restaurant chain Hooters may get sold to a prospective buyer shortly. The restaurant chain is known for the scantily clad workers and wings. It is based in Atlanta. The reports indicate that Las Vegas’s Hooters Casino and Hotel could be the reason behind this development. The company is not in a good shape financially which is obvious. Otherwise it would not have to look for a prospective buyer. The chain has been making losses for some time, as per the latest reports.

However, its popularity may get the chain a higher price, as many are speculating. The restaurant ran into a bad phase after the recession. It has also been reported that the management of Hooters hired a San Francisco-based investment bank, North Point Advisors, to help it in locating a good buyer. The brand has nearly 450 franchised and company owned restaurants to its credit. It is being assumed that the chain may get a price of $250 million despite its bad financial condition.

The Hooters is reeling under severe momentary crisis due to the wrong decisions taken by the owners. It tried to get into some ventures that failed pathetically including a failed airline deal. It is not yet known which companies have shown interest in acquiring Hooters. However, Private equity shops could be among the interested buyers of Hooters. The actual sale price may not be declared as Hooters is a privately owned entity. It remains to be seen if its fortune changes for the better after the sale.
